A huge range of artists renowned are set to take to six different stages across at Splendour, which is returning from July 19-20.
As is befitting for its hotly anticipated return, Splendour is featuring not one but two headliners celebrating the 20th anniversaries of their era-defining albums.
On Saturday, Bloc Party will be performing songs from their debut album Silent Alarm alongside a selection of greatest hits. This day will also feature Nottingham’s own Jake Bugg, Clean Bandit, and Natasha Bedingfield of Unwritten fame.
On Sunday, the Kaiser Chiefs will be playing a set celebrating their iconic debut album Employment, which features the famous tune I Predict A Riot. Travis, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and The Fratellis will performing on the final festival day as well.
These will also be joined by Starsailor, Cassia, Lucy Spraggan, Remember Monday, and Set In Motion throughout the weekend.
There will also be a brand new Day Fever stage, with daytime disco tunes curated by Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, Vicky McClure, and Johnny Owen.
Along with the Day Fever stage, the Bodega Stage is joining the roster, and will see the intimate Nottingham live music venue bring the most hotly-tipped national artists to Splendour. Aziya, Bloodworm, Cardinals, Davoli, daydreamers, Nectar Woode, Pentire, Toby Lee, Tom A Smith and TTSSFU are confirmed for this stage, with more to come.
Plus, the new Dance Stage will have headliners including Trevor Nelson’s Soul Nation on Saturday and Mark Doyle on Saturday.
George Akins, DHP Family, said: “Splendour has become a standout weekend for families and seasoned gig-goers alike and an important event for the cultural and economic value it brings to the region.
“We’re very pleased to finally be back with another brilliant line-up, now spread across two days and six distinct stages, offering great value to everyone coming to enjoy the weekend with us.”
This year, an accommodation partner will also be introduced next to the festival site.
Dedicated festival coaches will also be running from major cities and towns across the Midlands to amplify the festival’s regional appeal. Splendour has partnered with Big Green Coach for sustainable travel from cities around the region including Leicester, Sheffield and Lincoln.
Day tickets have now been released starting from £69 + booking fee for general admission. Payment plans to spread the cost and City Resident discounts are available on all Weekend and Day tickets.
The festival is also offering a lower-priced Youth ticket option for 11-17 year olds, and free entry for children aged 10 and under (with a ticket).
