⚓ Ahoy there: The shipwreck of WW1 ship HMS Nottingham was found 109 years after it originally sunk. It was identified 60 miles off the coast of Scotland by a team of ten divers led by ProjectXplore, which is an international project that aims to locate historically-significant shipwrecks around the UK. Divers also found white dinner plates stamped with a Royal Navy blue crown emblem, as well as the embossed lettering ‘Nottingham’ on the top of the stern. bbc.co.uk
🎶 Crazy train: Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne passed away last week on July 22, and memories of his hell-raising acts have poured in from across the world. One of these was the Ozzy Osbourne riot, which happened at Rock City on July 18 1988 after he cancelled his gig last-minute from his hotel room. BBC News’ Liam Barnes wrote a great feature about this, interviewing Ian Corcoran who was there on the night. bbc.co.uk
